My Sister Says Red Hat hint number one: Little Brother get me a red hat next time you are at the thrift store. Gee that is just great! Go to a thrift store and get a fabulous red hat for under five dollars. Been there done that, but now everyone is doing it. Red hats are as rare in thrift stores as Santa Claus is in July. Once in awhile you get lucky, but not very often these days. The red hat craze is everywhere. So, when you have to have red and it only comes in other colors what do you do? Try to find a nice straw hat in a light shade - preferably white. Go to the hardware and get some red paint, and sooner than you know - Whalah! RED HAT! Yes, you can try to paint dark colors. Sis used five cans of red to finally get a black hat to appear red. Not hardly worth it. Stick to the light colors.
